A grant was provided by IBM Corporation to allow our team to learn new and innovative ways of performing system analysis and application development. We are using IBM’s software to model and analyze some of the current information systems here at Michigan Technological University. We use Business Process Management (BPM) techniques to understand, model and improve business processes. We use the models to build Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based applications which help application users efficiently control and monitor their business processes.
